E. Scott Treadway is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also practiced before numerous other state and federal courts. Mr. Treadway received his undergraduate degree with honors from Ball State University and his law degree with honors from Indiana University School of Law. During law school, he was Assistant Editor of the Indiana Law Review, and a member of the Dean’s List and Dean’s Tutorial Society and a recipient of the Dillon Scholarship. The Hoosier Environmental Council named him the 2000 Environmental Litigator of the Year. Mr. Treadway has also been named as an Indiana Super Lawyer. Mr. Treadway’s practice focuses on representing small and medium sized businesses in all areas including organization, development, labor, joint ventures, real estate, finance and insurance.
Mr. Treadway also has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of insurance licensing and regulatory matters. Mr. Treadway has appeared before the Indiana Department of Insurance on a variety of matters including the licensing and formation of insurance entities. Mr. Treadway represents and was involved in the formation and approval of the Indiana Assigned Risk Reinsurance Pool.
Mr. Treadway also represents public and municipal entities in the areas of finance, insurance, construction and development. Mr. Treadway has represented cities, public libraries and other government organizations in all phases of the construction and development process including, but not limited to, insurance procurement, contract negotiation and preparation, land acquisition, project permitting, project bidding, analyzing project delivery options, OSHA disputes, claims and cost analysis, and claims and dispute resolution.
Mr. Treadway has served as an instructor for the National Business Institute, the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors, the Real Estate Career Institute, the Indiana Apartment Association, Duke Realty, Remax Real Estate, HalfMoon Seminars, the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Foundation, CCIM and Lorman Education Services. Mr. Treadway has taught numerous courses on the following topics:

Mr. Treadway is an approved real estate instructor by the Indiana Real Estate Commission. Mr. Treadway is a member of the Indiana Construction Association, the Indiana Subcontractors Association, the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety, National Association of Industrial & Office Properties, and the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors. Mr. Treadway is also active with the Indiana Republican Leadership Forum.
